Mykonos ... the island of extremes and one of the most popular holiday islands. In the night time you can find a variety of bars, discos, cafes, restaurants and taverns. Also in the day time Mykonos town has a very nice atmosphere where you can walk through the car-free, narrow streets and find international and local jewellery, boutiques, art galleries and designer stores. Take a Greek coffee in the harbour in town and you can watch the fishermen who sell their daily catch.

The small neighbouring island of Delos with ancient excavations is a nice day-trip for those interested in culture.

12 km from the town is the peaceful and beautiful Kalafati bay, also a favorite for non-surfers. Even in the high season it is never over-crowded. For families or individuals: everybody can have fun and recover from work.

Kalafati can be reached from the South Bus Terminal in the town in 20 minutes, by taxis or with the most popular mode of transport, a motor bike that can be rented in many places.
